Your SOS® sunglasses are made from highly durable materials. The frames are constructed to provide extreme durability. We are so confident in our quality and workmanship that we offer the following Lifetime Warranty against Manufacturer's Defects:

One-Year Warranty against Manufacturer's Defects

1. SOS warrants that, if your SOS sunglasses ever fail for any Manufacturer's Defect SOS will repair or replace them. We only require that you return your sunglasses to us, including a letter describing exactly what happened to your SOS sunglasses, a dated proof of purchase a $15 fee to cover processing, and $7.99 fee for return shipping of your claim. We encourage you to be detailed in your letter and give us a vivid account of what happened.
   
   
2. Making a Warranty Claim: To make a claim, do not return your SOS to the store. Stores are not authorized to provide service under this warranty. Please send your SOS sunglasses, your letter, a dated proof of purchase and a check or money order for $15 for processsing and $7.99 for freight (Total $22.99), to Eye Industries LLC., Survival Optics Sunglasses, 12 West Cota Street Santa Barbara, CA. 93101 Attn: Warranty Dept. Be sure to include your proof of purchase, your name, return address, and phone number. We encourage you to send your SOS by a traceable method (such as insured mail or United Parcel Service), since SOS is not responsible under this warranty for lost or misdirected packages.
   
   
3. Limitation on Damages: FOR BREACH OF ANY WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT, THE CONSUMER IS LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING DAMAGES: REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT OR REPLACEMENT WITH AN IDENTICAL OR EQUIVALENT MODEL, AT THE ELECTION OF SOS SUNGLASSES. SOS IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, SUCH AS SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT. NOTE: SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
   
   
4. Scope and Duration of the Warranty: This warranty extends only to you, the original purchaser of these SOS sunglasses, and lasts for as long as you own your SOS sunglasses. This warranty covers all parts of your SOS sunglasses (with the exception of lenses)and applies to Manufacturer's Defects.
   
   
5. Manufacturer's Defects within 30 days of Purchase: If there is a defect in the materials or workmanship within the first 30 days of purchase, SOS will return the $15 processing fee along with the repair or replacement of your SOS sunglasses. SOS has the sole discretion to determine manufacturer's defects. Scratched lenses are NOT a manufacturer's defect. Just return your sunglasses to SOS Eyewear, as described in section #2., along with your letter, a $15 processing fee, a $7.99 return shipping fee, and a dated proof of purchase.
   
   
6. Substitution of Similar Style or Color Sunglasses: Because styles and colors of sunglasses change, SOS reserves the right to substitute a style and/or color of SOS sunglasses which are similar, but not identical, to the SOS sunglasses returned to us under this warranty.
   
   
7. Reproduction of Customer Letters: SOS reserves the right to reproduce all or any portion of any customer letter received in connection with this warranty in its advertising or promotional materials without compensation to the customer. The submission of any letter along with a warranty claim will constitute a license permitting SOS use and reproduction of all or any portion of the customer letter in connection with its business.
   
   
8. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
   
   
9. This warranty applies to SOS Sunglasses purchased in the United States and Canada only.
   
   
10. Please also remember that "they just broke when I was putting them on my head" is not a warranty claim. They were probably broken in your bag or pocket before you placed them on your head.
    
    
11. This Warranty applies to consumers who purchase Survival Optics Sunglasses at full retail price. A dated proof of purchase is required.
    
    
12. Lenses are not warranted against scratching. They are designed to provide you protection from the sun's harmful rays, the wind and snow only.
    
    
13. If your Survival Optics Sunglasses are not covered under our warranty, don't worry, we offer a Trashed Replacement Option. For a nominal fee, you can replace all or part of your Trashed Sunglasses.
